Good value, easy transport

Great hotel stay in downtown Cancun. Really short walk to the bus stop, so transfer from the airport was easy on the ADO bus, as well the local buses to the beaches nearby. Good value - all we needed for a night.

The location is perfect for people who want to walk and use the bus and public transportation. The hotel has restaurants and a pool. The room looked old and dark but for the price it was a good stay!

Hotel Plaza Kokai is clean, functional but sparse. Perfect is you are not planning on staying in the hotel all day long. The only issue I had was that the hot water for showers tendered to run a bit lukewarm for my tastes and the street noise could get loud at times. The staff were all very nice and professional. The air conditioning unit worked perfectly and helped with the humidity.

The property is in the city, it is quiet but sketchy. Pool area very small (7-10 people). Nice restaurant, friendly and helpful, some English speakers, parking is on the street first come, and this hotel gives Hostel vibes. No refrigerator, no microwave, very minimal items to include 1 small table with a broken chair.

Convenient choice for the ADO bus station

My husband, our 8-month-old baby, and I stayed here for one night during our travels. We arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning, so our experience was brief but sufficient for our needs. The staff were polite and efficient, making check-in straightforward despite our late arrival. The hotel was clean, and the room provided everything we needed for a short stay. While nothing stood out as exceptional, it was perfectly adequate and met our expectations. The location is very central, just a few minutes’ walk from the ADO bus terminal, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. This convenience made it easy to catch an early bus the next morning. Overall, this hotel is a practical choice if you're looking for a clean and convenient place to stay for a short time in Cancun.

The location of this hotel is perfect and easy to find. Everything is walking distance and was able to get Uber to pick us up and drop off perfectly fine. Only thing I did not like was that they only gave us 2 towels per day (would have to keep going to the front desk to ask for more). Also the lighting is not the best in the bathroom (girls doing their makeup). And lastly, I loved how they could clean/organize the room daily but it seemed as if they didn’t change the sheets nor clean the beds good, as to all the sand would still be there. Other then that, everything else was good. Would recommend staying here again if cleaning got better.

No hotel airport shuttle. We rang the hotel from the airport and were told to hire a taxi, and get a receipt for reimbursement from the manager. It was $90 USD, plus a $10 tip. The manager denied the phone call and refused to reimburse anything. The room had a noisy air conditioner. The pool is lovely. The waiter spoke no English and the menu was in Mexican - but we worked it out. The drinks were good.

Maybe pamplets of things to do. Room & hotel seemed super clean but there were no toiletries. They gave you the wifi password right away. They provide remotes for tv & ac so you must return them upon checking out. Pool was too dirty or at least it seemed b.c the water wasn't too cloudy. Girl at the reception was super nice & helpful. If you want ice, you must get it from the restaurant for a charge. There is no fridge & no microwave but overall for the price it was a good deal.
