"From different hotels I've stayed in Florence in the past, I'd say Minerva was the better one. These are what you may notice: roomier lounge, more light, roof top view, and also very educated staff. The room service manager is very smart in timing and the location is less than 10 min walk to Duomo or Uffizzi, and Vecchio, etc. Also if you have car, the area in front of hotel is great for valets or parking, and taxis can come to pick you up easily (specially if want to attend a venue) "

"Excellent location for tourism (and safe for a solo female), friendly and helpful staff, very clean, lovely foyer/bar area. My queen bed room was fine for one but would be quite small for two, and bathroom was spacious with bath and shower over. Everything worked, but there was not enough space to put things ... insufficient hanging space in wardrobe, only one shelf and no chest of drawers, no chairs."

"We all love the stay here. Our children are young adults and loved the pool and pool bar. The chalet was tight for 5 adults but was perfectly accommodating. The showers were huge by European standards. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the chalet, patio and pool area. Lots to offer families. The shuttle to the Oltrano area can be far to walk for some but we were up for it. "

"The proximity to the sites is excellent, very walkable or short rides to anything you want to see in Florence. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to satisfy. The renovated rooms were extremely nice for such an old part of the city. The breakfast was also very good. I would not stay anywhere else the next time I visit Florence."
