"I booked the Lakes hotel for my husband’s birthday. I requested a surprise package which included balloons and confectionary. We had a complimentary upgrade to the Windermere suite as this made it even more special for my husband and he was really over the moon with the views. From start to finish the staff were welcoming, kind and really helpful. On arrival, Mali one of the receptionist gave us a tour of the hotel. Mark showed us to our room and showed us how to use the hot tub etc. We enjoyed the using spa facilities and we also dined in one of the hotel restaurants called Mizumi. The food was lovely and staff were helpful. Thank you for this amazing stay, it was amazing!"

"Omg where do I start! This hotel is amazing. So clean so friendly. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much. I brought my partner here to propose to her. There is a beautiful little cabin that they decorate and you can add stuff like chocolate covered strawberries, which are to die for. Also added a bottle of Prosecco which is in an ice bucket and placed just before the time you agree to use it from. A really big shout out to Alessandro who phoned me personally when I had emailed about what I was planning and he made the arrangements so smooth and hassle free. Also to Charlotte who put a note to not mention the cabin on check in. Alessandro and Charlotte were there on check in and made it so hassle free. They are an assets to this beautiful hotel and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much. "

Claire was a fantastic host — super friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy from start to finish. "Everything was very good....the room was lovely...the girls working the evening shift were really, really good.....and my dinner was truly excellent.... My only complaint is the music that was playing in the evening.....as much as I love AC/DC, I think something softer would be more appreciated by the folk having dinner and drinks. Nice to see dogs are well catered for !!!! I'll definitely be back!"
