"Awesome! Our stay at the Crown Hotel in Blockley was quiet & restful. A great place, with a rich history. We were pleasantly surprised to find a book in the Library in Chipping Camden with the history of Blockley and many other books on Cotswold. We were welcomed and served at the hotel with a wonderful staff that accommodated to our request, especially as we were travelling with my ederly mother. As the hotel is rustic, our room had uneven flooring, but we were pleased that my mother's room was alright. The food at the restaurant including breakfast and dinner was reasonably priced and delicious. The Sri Lankan dinner set is not to be missed, the steaks were gorgeously done and cooked to perfection. We had many happy memories and enjoyed our stay. "

"We went for a mini-break over the late May bank holiday weekend, and The George made the stay. An incredibly comfortable room and well appointed room. We loved the small collection of vintage books. Great breakfast. Welcoming staff. We are looking forward to another stay. Highly recommended."
