Been to the big blue before and it never fails to dissapoint. welcoming and friendly staff. clean and tidy hotel. good variety of breakfast offered and efficient staff when it comes to clearing tables when finished. would highly recommend this hotel.
Chose hotel for their 6:30am breakfast start, there was a small queue forming and rather than taking your name and room number and allowing you take your own seat, the single member of staff first took your details, asked if you wanted tea or coffee, grabbed a pot and then proceeded to take you to ...
Our needs were accommodated to the full. The food was of a very high quality and the restaurant staff were very friendly and obliging. The room was comfy and warm. The shower was in fully working order and could be regulated well.
Excellent hotel at lower cost than it's competitors (Big Blue I'm looking at you). Staff are friendly and more than helpful and rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Hotel bar is so relaxed it needs to be experienced. Overall it is South Beach hidden gem and not to be missed if you get a chance ...
Hotel had a good location for pleasure beach, food and shops near by with a local tram/bus stops. Hotel was ideal as had parking for the car. Although hardly seen any staff throughout our visit. The northwest of England’s Blackpool International Airport was the UK’s first aviation site, and is still one of the country’s busiest airports. It’s flying history dates back to 1909 and, in that time, it has become well-supplied with accommodation options for every traveller. From the big hotel chains represented inside the airport complex to smaller guesthouses and family-run bed & breakfasts in the immediate area, and beyond, there’s plenty of choice for business and leisure travellers alike.
Blackpool International Airport is located on Lancashire’s Fylde Coast, an area of unlimited natural beauty that attracts visitors throughout the year. Based in a hotel or guesthouse near the airport, you have easy access to popular locations such as Morecambe Bay and the Ribble Estuary, with their vast bird colonies and breath-taking seascapes. In the numerous villages across the area, such as Ribby Hall and Marton Mere, you’ll easily find a family-run guesthouse or B&B that will give you a warm welcome and clean room at a very reasonable price.
Leisure visitors to Blackpool can choose from many different guesthouses in the immediate airport area, and also in the town itself. For executive travellers, the demands of work may dictate a stay at one of the airport’s larger hotel chains, where business-oriented facilities are numerous. These include things like photocopying facilities, fully kitted-out conference rooms and, of course, speedy broadband. Many of the area’s larger guesthouses also offer a few of these facilities, but in an airport hotel at Blackpool, they’re guaranteed.
Though airport and local accommodation offer great comfort, you can’t beat a spa hotel when it comes to facilities intended for total relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, why not treat yourself to a sauna and massage followed by steam bath, and maybe even a manicure and exfoliation treatment while you’re at it? There are several top-notch spa hotels in and around Blackpool if you fancy a taste of the high life.
Blackpool is the quintessential English seaside resort, bursting with entertainment options and famous attractions such as Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Zoo. The hotels lining the town’s main streets offer full-board luxury, while at the same time, there are great choices for visitors who prefer the home comforts of a family-run B&B. You could also opt for a guesthouse on the outskirts of Blackpool, closer to the airport, if you’d prefer to avoid the crowds of the city centre. Blackpool bustles with excitement, but there’s nothing wrong with letting a good night’s sleep take precedence!
