"Clean and quiet rooms, although furniture and the tv a bit on the dated side. Hotel design and interior really impressive and the staff was great. Breakfast is rather simple of range and not cheap, the a-la-carte omelette was amazing though. Could be better on the food/cutlery replenishment, although we visited during bank holidays and we appreciate potentially short staffed environment. The pool is great, my girls loved it. Again, towel replenishment could have been better. The complimentary ice creams in the lobby were delightful!"

"No early check in or late check out. When checking in early, they said “your room is guaranteed at 3pm”. At 3pm they said your room is not ready and so we upgraded you to a sea view room. Got to the room, it’s a wall view room with one less bed.. we booked a room with two king size beds and got 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. When called multiple times, nobody picked up the phone. When requesting late check out they said “we have given away too many late check outs already “, are you kidding me?? Staff were rude and non cooperative. There are water jars at 35C which is very thoughtful but only if they have water in them. Extremely disappointed with what we got for what we paid for. Do better!"

"We had Premium room, unfortunately no aircon;( heat in the room was unbearable in this weather-my kiddo got heat rashes . Sofa bed was also very uncomfortable to sleep. Pros: brilliant location, great breakfast, clean room and toilet, iron, kettle and mini fridge in room just a bonus. I wouldn’t recommend for family with kids as very hot in the room."

"Stayed at Harbour Hotel Brighton for my partner’s 30th birthday and honestly left disappointed. We arranged for a bottle of champagne and strawberries to be waiting in the room on arrival. Instead, we were delivered a warm bottle of Prosecco and told the champagne would arrive the next day. Despite mentioning it multiple times throughout the stay, it never appeared. The biggest issue though was the condition of the rooms. The first room was dirty, tired, and poorly maintained. Stains throughout the carpets, marks on furniture, rusty shower fittings, dirty skirting boards, grimy areas around the bathroom, and general lack of upkeep. We were moved to another room, but even that had stains all over the carpet and still felt worn out and neglected. To make matters worse, we received no housekeeping service until we specifically asked for it. The spa experience was mixed. My partner’s facial was apparently lovely, and the staff themselves were polite whenever we spoke to them, but the spa area also looked tired and poorly maintained. I also came out in a rash after using the hot tub, which made me question whether the chemical balance was being properly monitored. Despite booking a £100 treatment, there was still an extra £10 charge just to use the spa facilities, which felt a bit cheap for a hotel positioning itself as four-star luxury. This doesn’t seem like bad luck either — after looking through Google reviews, there are plenty of photos showing very similar room conditions."

"Welcome was great. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely large room with super wet room. Breakfast was delicious and had a super view of the sea whilst eating. Area was busy but quiet both in our room and the dining area. We will most definitely visit again."
