The manager (Owner?) directed me to the perfect bar to watch the international rugby, the ideal route to go out for a run and even told us about the best place to visit when we moved on down to the Mediterranean coast, a fishing village that was simply beautiful and that I am not sure we would have found without is advice. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Highly recommend, but be warned, parking nearby is a challenge and I can imagine it gets much worse during spring and summer." It was right across from the medieval fortress. My room was very nice and clean. I had some trouble with the heat and patio door, but the receptionist attended to the matter immediately and solved the issue. We enjoyed the lounge area to meet with family and enjoyed cocktails and a snack. There didn’t seem like too many guests were in the hotel as we had the lounge to ourselves which was nice and almost private. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection for each of us all served at our table. The only disappointment was that my boiled egg was not cooked to my liking. I had asked for it to be well done and it was cooked soft. Other than that, everything was good. We didn’t use the facilities other than the lounge as we were only there for the night. It was a very pleasant experience to spend reuniting with family and would recommend this hotel if you want to see the medieval town. Great location!
