10/10 Excellent

"Second time staying here - it just works. Everything you need, nice and clean, great location close to Farringdon tube, walking distance to the Barbican, close to nice food and drink options and friendly staff. Excellent air conditioning (it’s been a heatwave both times I stayed). Nice big shower - but note that the bathroom is sort of part of the bedroom so not necessarily ideal if you’re sharing with friends, there is just a glass door to the shower and to the separate toilet, and the sink is in the bedroom. I was travelling alone and found this layout very convenient for getting ready though! Premium rooms are much bigger and brighter, so worth the small additional cost. One tiny suggestion for management: a hook for the hand towel by the sink would be useful. If the price remains affordable I’ll stay here every time I’m in London."

"I thought the front end staff were very customer focused & helpful. Our issue was with who ever was servicing our rm . It was dusty , the garbage wasn’t being emptied? Then the last day we stayed they didn’t clean our rm at all . ? Over all I would recommend this hotel"

"The beds are quite small, we had a small double and a 3/4 Double in our family room. We also found the mattresses to be very hard, which I know can be personal preference, and I don't mind a firm mattress but these were next level. The pillows were also too soft for it liking, and two were needed to feel like one normal pillow. Otherwise, the hotel is to a good standard, clean, and well maintained."

"This place is great! Feels like a very upscale hotel - robes and slippers, plenty of towels, shower and deep tub, comfortable beds, good AC. There was plenty of room downstairs to hang or work if you wanted space outside the room. The breakfast buffet looked great. Free fruit and cold water in the lobby each day. Not far from transport - walkable with bags."
