When I arrived, I was not pleased with the location/view & size of my room. Beatrice arranged a different room for me the next day. It had a much better view & was more spacious. There was a receptionist whose name I did not get - she was white, with dark hair and a bang. I had a couple communication issues with her because she didn't seem to understand English that well. The other receptionists were splendid. The hotel was walkable to public transit, restaurants, grocers and other stores. It was very easy to get around.
The only issue I experienced, and it was a major one, was that half way through my stay (I believe Wednesday the 18th), the front desk staff put a family directly next door to me. The family had a baby. My room had an adjoining door to their room, & it sounded as if the family was in the room with me whenever they would talk or the baby would cry. This really ruined my holiday vibe. As someone staying in a room for 9 days and spending around $3,000 USD, I would really not like to be disturbed at 1 AM, 2 AM AND 6 AM, in the middle of the night, due to a crying baby. This was very inconvenient. I spoke with Beatrice at checkout and explained my grievances. She apologized &stated that the family never should have been placed in the room next door to me. I advised I didn't mention it because I didn't want to move to a third room & didn't want to inconvenience the family. This could've been avoided from the beginning had the receptionist looked into the details.
