"Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. "

"Not bad. Property is used by locals as a wedding venue so there were many visitors joining to discuss this. Lunch area gets packed. Menu of food was good on Wednesday. On the first day of the week, its usually basic (fish and chips, pie etc). Rooms were spacious. Bit dated but add to the Tudor charm."

"The best in Chatham. Nice room (superior double) with a great view over the marina, in a good location for boaty types and area visitors. I didn't find it noisy. "Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. "

Great location
"One of the best b and b’s we’ve ever stayed in. Great location, we could actually see the sea from our room although it’s not a seafront location. Our room was huge, with a big comfy bed, a fridge, sofa, tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely en-suite shower room. Plenty of hot water and big fluffy towels. Shampoo and shower gel provided but no hand wash. In the morning, we had a lovely full English with the best hash browns I’ve ever had. Service was very friendly throughout. We will definitely stay here again when we next come. "
