Great location, characterful rooms, friendly staff, great bar and restaurant food. There's clearly a concern for good ingredients for the bar/restaurant food. So why not for guests who are staying overnight? The local bread served in the bar is fabulous - so why serve cardboard bread for breakfast along with cheap, sugary yoghurt and cereals. Weak coffee from coffee bags? Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). The continental breakfast was a prefect start to the day. Breakfast is continental but very lovely and we had a really nice stay. Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good.. Breakfast was continental with a selection of cereals & oats yogurts.
