"Good location to see Oxford and surroundings. Was there related to a confernece, the hotel provides a modern yet cozy place to stay. Staff this time were very kind and showed great hospitality, in particular front desk and coffee shop."

Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out.
Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day.
We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation.
Would highly recommend

This stay was just for overnight. The room was clean and very comfortable, and there was an available parking place in the courtyard.
The Villiers staff couldn't have been kinder. Holly from Reception took me to my room and explained the necessary details required for my stay.
At breakfast Jackie insisted that I have everything brought to me as she had spotted my walking difficulties. Because all other guests finished in the breakfast room I had the bonus of interesting conversation with her...

Swift check in.
The best full body massage ever! Thank you Imogen.
Room clean, comfy, soft towels, good quality wash products, good quality biscuits & soft gowns.
Hotel wifi and phone reception very very poor.
Evening meal from Bar- simply fantastic: main and dessert.
However, disappointed the website still had previous menu showing and I was really looking forward to the Indian veggie option and cheese cake, but of course that menu had been withdrawn.

Really good service from the team! Husband ran in the MK marathon and the team were super considerate about this! They also considered my comfort and provided us with extra pillows without asking because I am 9 months pregnant! Would definitely stay here again if husband ran again next year.

Anniversary weekend. Very nice hotel with character and good service - just what we were looking for. The room was super, the hotel serve fantastic afternoon tea and we loved the quiet library and the little sun-trap on the library terrace. Would have liked fluffy bathrobes, but can't think of anything else to improve. Be warned: - The bed was hard (which we like/prefer) but large and comfortable. The climb to our room was via small twisty stairs with a very low door. So if you have any physical...

The Malmaison oxford is so far one of our best stays we have had in the uk! The hotel is a stunning renovation from a prison to a hotel that my now fiance just loved. The interior is stunning and classy with such helpful staff that took our car and parked it when we arrived, making us feel like Royalty.
The Junior suite was breath taking with so much space, large bed, large tv, comfy and stylish seating and a large double shower to top it off.
although we didn't eat in the hotel we did visit...

Just back from a few days staying at the De Vere, Sandford on Thames. Excellent hotel, comfy deluxe double, delicious breakfast with great choice of food. Helpful staff on reception suggested taking the bus, from just outside the hotel, in to Oxford. 15 mins and we were in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Really lovely hotel in 20min walking distance or £6 cab (Oct 2024) from centre of Oxford.
Very welcoming, beautiful and clean room, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and extra touches like a fridge with some free juices and sodas, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and also toiletries bags for each of us. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at The White Hart, we booked as the following day we were visiting Bletchley Park. The room was very spacious and clean, with little extras like water in the fridge and a basket with snacks, coffee machine, kettle and lots of different coffee and tea options. The accommodation is on a different building next to the pub which was better as the pub was quite lively. The breakfast was very good we had a full English, but also there was a good selection of cereals, yogurts...
