Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park is best known for serving as the base for an elite group of code breakers who made a huge contribution to the Allies' war effort during World War II. A relatively small group of intellectuals worked tirelessly to gather intelligence on enemy behaviour, ultimately helping the Allies to overcome the Axis Powers in the most significant event of modern history. Among the code breakers was the now world-renowned Alan Turing.
