Had a wonderful stay (4 nights in the Stables). The Inn is set in beautiful countryside, and I loved the quaintness of the building, lots of different areas to sit in to eat or have a drink, and a nice covered seating area outside. The room was very comfortable, and the water pressure for the bath was great. Food was superb, the best I've had in a pub (a step above what I'd call 'pub food'). Paolo, Tim, Amanda, and the rest of the team were warm, welcoming and super helpful (including when I...

For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking.

Was a lovely hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Best breakfast I've had in a hotel.

Was excellent throughout Nice room, great service and speedy! Really good

Great

Great little b&b , host accommodating for an early breakfast. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Very comfortable and perfect for the station.

Most enjoyable stay in a lovely part of England. The 'Crown's' Staff were absolutely superb, the food was very good and the 'Inn's position was very convenient to visit many places of interest in that area. I have no hesitation in recommending the 'Crown' to my friends and relations.

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

The Room in the Garden is a lovely space, it was clean, the large bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and great, especially in the hot weather. In the room was a coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and milk and a TV. Outside was a lovely shaded patio where we enjoyed a welcome cup of tea when we arrived, and a freshly prepared, very tasty light breakfast the following morning. The owners and their dog were very friendly and helpful, providing a fan to cope with the heat...
