"The hotel room was nice. There was an iron and an ironing board but no hair dryer. Which seemed odd to me as I would think a hair dryer is used more than an ironing board. The beds were comfy, the place was clean and the room had blackout curtains, which was very appreciated. There were very few plug sockets though. No on site parking but there's a parking place across the road that does 24hr parking for £14 a day or £11 a day with discount provided by the hotel."

"Really great hotel! Friendly staff, great rooms with thoughtful amenities and great location. Our room had a great view of the river and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. We ate at the Gino restaurant on site which was great. All staff members were so friendly and welcoming. Location was about a 20 minute walk out of the city centre, but loads of bars and restaurants nearby"

Lovely body room with a big bathroom very comfortable and clean.The castle is so beautiful with the combination of really old carved furnitures, beautiful decorations in every little corner and windows with a more modern twist in the bar and dining room. The dinner was excellent as well as the breakfast I highly recommend this hotel it’s a very good value for the money "
