"We loved our room and most of the staff was very nice but there was one young lady who informed us they were no longer cooking food at 9pm even though the menu you said “Order Anytime.” No hours of operation were posted. We understood until she took a break next to us in the lobby and ate the very meal we were going to order in front of us! "

"The front facade is deceiving as it hides a delightful quaint country escape, run by a fantastic family and excellent staff. The room was recently updated, quite a good size, and very comfortable. Firm comfy mattress, welcome drink at the bar, walking distance to the heart of Salisbury with included “first come first served” parking made this a very delightful visit for me. I would stay here again if in the area."

"Clean basic accommodation attached to an interesting old inn. Modern bedroom resembling Premier Inn, good value for the price paid snd in an ideal location as we were passing through Basingstoke on the way to Southampton. Breakfast was not included but offered at a supplement. Variety offered on the menu looked good but we overslept in the comfortable beds and so had to run. "

"Fab location on the outskirts of Winchester. Individual seating area outside ground floor room. Carpets into accommodation area were mismatched and decor a little dated. Room was great - comfy bed and matching furniture. Large comfy tea seater and complimentary tea/coffee/bottled water. Bath was narrow meaning skin made contact with shower curtain. Reception and housekeeping staff were great. Downside - table in restaurant booked for 7, ordered at 7.10 - food to table just after 8pm. Not...
