"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"This is a secluded adorable log cabin off the beaten path. Just what we needed for some quiet down time. Yet close enough to town to visit family. It was clean and well stocked. The decorations for fall were superior. The clean, well kept landscaped and fire pit area were great. Be prepared to drive down a dirt road. (well kept) And keep an eye out for the sign that says “Cozy Log Cabin”. You cant see the house until after you turn into the unpaved driveway."

"Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit."

"The Hood Canal Beachfront Bungalow is a great place to stay if you are looking for a few quiet days. The cabin was very clean, and everything I needed for cooking was there. I really enjoyed the fireplace and the telescope. But most of all, the quiet was amazing. I would definitely recommend!"

"Such a cute little house. We only ran into a couple of issues. There were bugs that found their way into the house (like a lot of lady bugs) but the weather was just warming up. The other was that the shower was slow to drain. If you have more people staying, the only bathroom is located inside the main bedroom, so if people take late night bathroom trips that can be an issue. We loved the location and the property was so clean. The views were stunning and the hot tub was a huge plus!...

"We rented this unit in January of 2024, when Seattle was experiencing a 30 year record cold spell. Temperatures were in the teens. This is a basement unit, and the unit upstairs controls the furnace. Unit was a bit cool (Think 60-65) when we checked in. Called our contact and left message. Over the next little bit we found the four space heaters in the two bedroom closets and turned them on. Also discovered 3 of the 4 windows were cracked open a bit. Oops, blew a breaker. "This place is amazing! Its very quiet, comfortable, and has all the amenities one would need when staying somewhere. I loved that there was a full fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The rooms were quiet and stayed cool, and they have on-site parking. For the price, this place has everything you could want or need, and then some."
