"This location is beautiful with plenty of boat traffic, ducks, eagles, seals and sea otters to keep you entertained. I have never stayed in a home with a better stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed. It was very private and out of the way, but town was only a few minutes away if you needed something. We brought our dog with us and he loved to sit on the balcony watching the wildlife, and the access to the beach was easy for him to navigate. Very thankful that they had a yard for our dog....

"Everything was amazing, just as pictured and discribed. I loved the extra touches, organization, throw blankets and more. We enjoyed the location, easy access to town, the ferry, restaurants and sites. About 5 minutes away we would see 3 deer grazing. We enjoyed the firepit nightly. We would love to return in the future. Thank you Melissa for sharing your cozy home with us."

"The location of this charming cottage couldn’t be better. Walk to bakeries and restaurants. On-street parking readily available, with a charming outdoor area. I have to especially give a shoutout to the kitchen, which had everything you’d need to make a meal, and the interesting, charming adornments around the rooms."

"I lucked out finding this place. Needed a last minute booking to come into the city and this place popped up. The space was super bright and clean - probably one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed in. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. We parked in the garage and walked all around the neighborhood - it’s a nice area. Hosts were great and check-in was easy. This is definitely my go to for trips into the city going forward."

"Skyler was a great host, even coming out to the street to get us to the right place when we arrived late in the dark. (Directions auto-corrected to 10 West Smith St. -- close, but one block over). Had everything we needed, perfect size, easy walk to Queen Anne District for anything you might need, and short drive to anywhere you may want to go. Street parking was easy, and we highly recommend a troll hunt if you have no specific plans. Highly recommend!"

"We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was perfect for two, had all the amenities we were after, and the location was ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet with an astounding view. Our stay was 7 days and we’d planned excursions to Seattle, Victoria, whale watching, etc but we ended up staying local enjoying the hiking trails, small town lunches, and walking out our door and just a few minutes to the beach. Communication with host was excellent! Highly recommend."

"I come over to West Seattle monthly for diving. I stay in this unit for several reasons - first and foremost, it is cool. If you recall the Grunge explosion, this will be like sleeping in nostaglia. Excellent and eclectic records collection. It is close the restaurants (walking distance) and on the beach. Recommend it for anyone."

"We rented this unit in January of 2024, when Seattle was experiencing a 30 year record cold spell. Temperatures were in the teens. This is a basement unit, and the unit upstairs controls the furnace. Unit was a bit cool (Think 60-65) when we checked in. Called our contact and left message. Over the next little bit we found the four space heaters in the two bedroom closets and turned them on. Also discovered 3 of the 4 windows were cracked open a bit. Oops, blew a breaker. Breaker box was in...

"This place is amazing! Its very quiet, comfortable, and has all the amenities one would need when staying somewhere. I loved that there was a full fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The rooms were quiet and stayed cool, and they have on-site parking. For the price, this place has everything you could want or need, and then some."
