"We were motorcycle touring and arrived drenched and cold well before check in time. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful, checking us in early, finding a place to dry our kit, reserving a table for meals etc. The pub is small, simple and cosy with great home made food. The evening was fantastic as the locals were all in singing traditional songs as this was the night before the Padstow Hobby Horse day (May 1st). "Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"We had a wonderful time in Prospect cottage, everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the property and a potter delight to stay there. Would go again without question and Mevagissey is a super place to visit. I would recommend this property to anyone and we're so grateful to the hosts for allowing us to 'borrow' for a little while. Also must say thank you to the cleaner who keeps it all so nice. Can't wait to go again, thank you x"
