"Mevagissey stay"
We wanted a single overnight stay in Mevagissey, visiting a friend. The Ship Inn is very central to the village. The pub has a warm friendly atmosphere and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was a decent size but we did notice the smell of a dog when we entered, despite the window being open. Apart from that we were happy with the room (#2) and the bathroom was excellent (although the shower temperature seemed a little temperamental). Sleep was disturbed by the seagulls who don't appear to need any! Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order and was excellent.

"Excellent Hidden Gem on the Cornwall Coast"
We didn't know what to expect as we had never heard of Mevagissey before booking and the harbour and town were fantastic. Danny and Helen did a great job making us feel welcome in their beautiful B&B. We would definitely recommend particularly for dog lovers as Maisie the Jack Russell was super cute.

"Beautiful view over quaint harbour"
Room nice with lovely view over harbour. Bathroom very small but sufficient for a short stay. Good full English breakfast included in price. Excellent evening meal in pub. Very quaint and pretty harbour area.

Delightful Room and very pleasant hostess. Breakfast was marvellous. Visitors should however be aware that there is no parking or even drop off area and two steep narrow staircases once in the cottage. Location does mitigate theses disadvantages.

"Amazing views & the friendliest owners"
We stayed for 2 nights & from the minute we arrived until we left tommy & his lovely wife susie made us feel like we were visiting family more than staying in a b&b . Beautiful & clean rooms , freshly decorated , really was a pleasure . If they weren't a 6 hour drive from home I would become a "regular " . Tommy even offers to pick you up at the bottom of the hill if you go into town at night & don't want to walk back up . A real pleasure & my partner. & myself can't recommend enough . Thanks for a great couple of days .

"Sojourn by the Sea"
A warm welcome and a comfortable and well presented room. Plenty of tables on the inside of the bar area but you can also have a good evening, outside on the terrace watching the tide come in on the small beach and then lap the slipway at high tide. A beautiful setting just outside Mevagissey, on July 4th we walked up the hill from the pub to watch the fireworks in Mevagissey Harbour which was fantastic. A stones throw from The Lost Gardens of Heligan and also convenient for the Eden Project. Dogs are welcome and the ones that stayed at the pub had a great time. So if you want a good holiday for yourselves or along with your four legged friend I would highly recommend it. Also the beef burgers sourced locally are the best I have had in a long time.
