"Visiting from Canada. Got married at grand ball room 39 years, wanted to come back and stay at hotel. Was nice stay this is my 2nd time returning to hotel, first time my husband and I stayed that room had church view and was nicer room this time I treated my sister room was okay, side view and beds were not as comfortable. "

"I plumped for one of their rooms without a window as I wasn’t there to admire the scenery. The bed was massive but perhaps a bit hard for my taste, other than that the room had everything you needed. The first day I discovered that 9 o’clock wasn’t a good time for breakfast, the place was rammed full and people were often waiting on specific items. "Great location for Bullring shopping centre and some local venues. Just a 5 min walk from Birmingham Moor Street and 10 min walk to Birmingham New Street Stations. Welcoming young lady on reception at check-in and spotlessly clean room. Good little kitchenette for preparing light meals during a stay. Have stayed here twice now and would definitely recommend. Stayed in a studio apartment. "

"This was a night away for my wife and I. We thought the facilities and room were perfect for us. The hotel was in good repair but retained its period charm. The staff could not have been more helpful. Service in the restaurant was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food served up in the evening didn't quite live up to the high quality of the rest of our stay, but it was perfectly pleasant."

"Hotel reception staff friendly . We were able to check in early. Room well equipped and clean. Beds comfortable and loved the adjustable aircon. Breakfast staff were all smiling, helpful and pleasant. Kept everything very tidy. Great location, would stop again "

"The hotel was lovely clean and in a lovely location walking distance from airport but far enough away for it to be peaceful. We had a room on the 5th floor it was clean and a good size bed was not great but ok for 1 night my only fault for my stay was waking up at around 4am when i heard what i think was a washing machine above me i have a feeling the floor above 5th is for staff maybe and thats where they have their laundry done so would avoid the 5th floor if possible "
