"As I arrived in London in the morning, I headed to the Chester in hopes of getting an early check-in. I was told that there weren't any rooms available, and that I could leave my bags there. The bags are left in the lobby so I opted for waiting to see how quickly I could get into a room. A room was ready about half an hour later, but once I had moved my luggage, I realized that the carpet was damp near the bathroom. "The staff was incredibly helpful with local transit directions and luggage. One off-duty staff member saw me walking towards the hotel with my two suitcases and provided assistance in reaching the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. "

"I was surprised that the part of the hotel we stayed in was in another road and did not have a reception there. As a single traveller i would not have been happy to stay in a separate building. The room was clean but did not have tea making facilities. Overall good value for money. "
