"Our room was small, but had an additional sunroom off the side. It was nice to look out at the fog on the mountains. The hotel was up quite a steep hill, however. It might not be good for someone who cannot do that climb. It is very close to a beautiful waterfall."

"The property is run by a family and you can tell they take pride in their place. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding fresh and of good quality. Our room was bright and spacious enough and our breakfast was lovely. Lots of attention to detail and some yummy additions such as artisan yoghurt and breads. "

Studio Apartment "Sonnenhof" with Balcony & Wi-Fi

"Very comfortable and relaxing apartment with quality Ikea furniture. Thoughtful contemporary decorated . Small fully equipped kitchen. Four mins drive down hill to Triberg downtown where has a grocery store and the waterfall entrance. Good black forest cake in the cafe in the Black Forest Musuem. Access to the apartment involves driving up to top of hill and walking up several sets of stairs. Apartment is on the top level with sloped ceiling. Parking and turnaround on the hill at the deadend was always available and near the apartment building. It is a studio of living and bedroom in one with a small balcony. Bathroom is big with a washer/dryer and full size bath tub. Kind caring owner. The apartment itself is very nice, much better value than a hotel room of same price. Ideal for home like accommodation in the Black Forest where houses are built on hills. Not suitable for people who can't deal with uphill, stairs, sloped ceiling. Overall enjoyed the apartment."

"Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus. "

"I booked this place based off the internet picture. I The property was nothing like the picture. Instead it was in a large apartment building. There was no breakfast. We were told there would be tokens to do laundry and there were none. It took someone all day before they got back to us about these tokens ad we were told the people before us used all the tokens. The next door neighbor told us not to shut the door hard because he could hear it. He told us to go to the second floor to speak with someone. That apartment had the name of the person I thought I was emailing. When he answered, he basically told us not to knock and shut the door in our face. "
