"I booked this cottage as it was a very good price for a one night stay. Iâ€™d recommend as it was in a very peaceful area, with a lovely pub that does nice food about a minute walk away. The only downside to the properties area was the internet connection, as data was struggling for connection. The hot tub was brilliant, would recommend to make sure you burn wood straight away as it takes a while to warm up. It was a very cosy night and Iâ€™d definitely recommend and even come back again."

"We had a really lovely 1 night stay in the Highland pod at the Cow & Plough. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the pod was well designed, cosy and warm with quite a lot of room for two. It had all the things we'd need for a short stay â€“ only needing our toiletries and food. We found the shower pressure wasn't great but manageable. "Front door is 5 yards from busy A43. Contacted owner for key code Friday am for Friday stay did not reply till 14.21 Sunday. Builders next door Hammering just after 7 Saturday and Monday. Cover on front bed filthy. Toilet seat not attached correctly. No logs provided for log burner or tools. Welcome pack not as advertised no wine no milk no eggs no crisps small loaf. "We had a lovely stay at Baileys Tavern with our 3 small dachshunds. We were visiting and being visited by relatives from Leicester. They all agreed that it was a very comfortable and clean house, we were happy that our dogs were safe and happy in the secure garden.The village was nice and the people friendly and there were some lovely places to visit nearby.My only suggestion would be for a couple of garden chairs to enjoy the mild weather. "Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Very friendly greeting from reception on arrival. Room was way better than I imagined with a view of the gardens.Nice large and comfy bed and decor was a high standard.Booked a superior room so got an entrance hall and dressing room. Grounds were stunning and enjoyed a walk before a nice evening meal. The hotel bar was in the great hall which was an amazing location. The only let down was the WiFi and phone reception.Probably due to the location and age of building. Would recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break away in the country."
