"My wife and I loved staying at Home Farm Cottage. It was lovely and clean and although small, was nice and cosy with sufficient space and facilities to comfortably accommodate two people. The views of the surrounding countryside was spectacular and added to a very relaxing stay to help recharge our batteries! The property is located right next to two lakes with a caravan site at the far end. If you are thinking of fishing, the near lake is too easy as it has a large stock of very hungry carp...

"A very comfortable cottage. Excellent enclosed garden if you have a dog and great walks within 200 yards of the cottage to the 'deeps' or beyond to at least two longer distance paths. Stamford is ten minutes away and if yoir visiting family in the area its a great base with good road links. We had our break at half term (February) the cottage is well heated with a log burning fire!....we bought extra logs from Morrisons in Stamford (about £8 a bag).Bob and Sarah provided a great welcome pack...

The shops are a short walk into the village and the Navigation pub close by has a big canal side open area and a cosy interior offering a good range of small dishes and excellent meals. A quick walk along the canal sees ducks and geese, locks...

"We had an excellent time, the accommodation was peaceful and the hot tub amazing. We used it as a base as it was midway for the gents to go to Silverstone whilst the ladies when stopping in Birmingham. Would stay again if we decided to go back to Silverstone!"

"Hen party of 18 so this house was perfect for the occasion. Owners communication was excellent, very helpful, greeted on arrival and only had to call if any problems. Only down side was we had to buy washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc.. house could of done with just little stuff like that. Overall lovely house and would reccomend ."

"Stephen (the host) was great! Very friendly and welcoming! The room was very cosy, clean, and well equipt. Unfortunately, due to busy work, I was unable to explore the grounds, but I imagine they were lovely. 100% would stay again if working in the area."
