Bed was comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Next door to a kindergarten so if you're around after 9am then expect shrieking and screaming but it is kids being kids. Didn't find the staff very friendly....didn't even lift up their heads when I came in through the front door. I am coeliac and they were unable to cater for my dietary requirements so didn't have breakfast there.
"Lovely hotel just a short train ride from the city"
Accidentally booked this one instead of another one in the chain, but it was only about 200 metres away, so it was fine. Really nice place, easy to find, lovely rooms. Only thing was that for a couple of days they didn't give me any towels, but I just used my own. Overall great experience!
Pros-Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Close to main street of the west side of the city. Cost effective option.
Cons- bad view from the room because of front windows. No teapot available, maybe by request but I didn't ask.
Bottom line- would recommend!
We were upgraded on arrival from a junior suite to a larger one (I forget the name). The room was huge, with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. The bathroom was big, but only had a (spacious) shower. It was nice having the gym and pool available, although we would have preferred to be able to use the pool later in the evening (it closes at 10pm). The staff were attentive and helpful. I really liked the hotel: it was quiet, peaceful and in a decent area.
Ku'damm 101 Hotel in Berlin turned out to be a great choice. Stayed there only one night :(. Great location, tons of shops around as well as restaurants. Stores are closed on Sundays. Nice surroundings. Huge room, very clean, quiet, beautiful bedding. Buses just steps away. Next time definitely stay at Ku'damm Hotel, hopefully for longer.
Part of the borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf since 2001, Wilmersdorf offers visitors a quiet option in the heart of Berlin. Boasting a variety of cafes and restaurants, the neighborhood is also home to the Kirche am Hohenzollernplatz. This iconic church is considered one of the finest examples of Brick Expressionism and its striking design has earned it the nickname God's Powerhouse.
