"I rarely write reviews, but the service at this hotel was exceptional and deserves recognition. An issue with the booking - not their fault at all - was swiftly and calmly dealt with by a lovely member of staff - unfortunately I didn’t get her name - but she went the extra mile to ensure that I wasn’t disappointed. And I wasn’t. The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean. Every other member of staff I met showed the same smiling, happy, can-do attitude. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel and really hope that I have an opportunity to stay there again in the future. "

"Another fantastic stay, we have stayed here multiple times and have always had a great time, the location is excellent and it’s a lovely walk to Sutton Harbour and The Barbican through the Hoe park and along the coast and it only takes 10 minutes."

"The hotel is stunning specially that it was built 1863. The room a amazing size, guess does go by what you choose and paid for. Wifi has work all time I've been here. I am writing this review while I am still there. Staff have been super friendly. Highly recommend. 100% definitely coming back. Will like to add Aj at the receptionist has been super friendly and helpful."
