Stayed here for a second time and not disappointed. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very clean and tidy in all parts of the hotel, great choice of breakfast food and drinks, along with bar drinks, snacks and evening meal. Free on site parking. hotel.

loved the place on arrival, looked exactly how I pictured it and seen on line out of the way secluded and minimalist which we like , on room arrival nice clean bedroom quaint bathroom nice shower plenty of towels very cozy and good lighting and warm. The night wasn't so good didn't sleep to well the heating came on every so often could hear like a tap tap tapping sound and there was a loud knock or bang sounded like a airlock in the pipes directly about our bed, the fridge was quite loud throughout the night and the other travellers didn't seem to have much care, acknowledgement or consideration for other paying guests. Breakfast was lovely eggs a little under cooked , meal in the night was beautiful your staff, gentleman waiter was easy to speak to nice manner and made us feel welcome, particularly the young boy (waiter) breakfast time very professional. Overall it was nice and I enjoyed my time there, now home to bed ...😄

Staff and food great but room and stay terrible.
Worst nights sleep ever in a hotel. We were put in a converted (into 4 compact) house to the side of the hotel . The room also housed the boiler which was noisy until 2am. But that wasn't the main reason for a terrible night's sleep. The mattress had numerous large springs popping up making it very uncomfortable. The shower also had mould throughout making that an unpleasant experience. A toilet had been boxed in the corner and was freezing. A mini fridge on the floor in front of the radiator. Very odd and noiesy so had to turn off.Final issue was tea/coffee facility had to be perched on a chair to reach a plug. The room as whole was just so disappointing and not worth the money we paid .

The room was acceptable, clean apart from the cobwebs and the odd spider. The shower needed to be thought out better( no-where to put shower gel or shampoo when you used it) A tray attachment would be the norm. The mini fridge was sitting on the floor(What no small tables around?) and had to fumble around trying to find a socket to plug the kettle in(on the floor) The Breakfast was cold and we had to wait 50 minutes for it. Sandbay has a wonderful beach to walk on.
