The location is the only good thing I can report back.
The hotel is is need of a complete renovation. The room was filthy, filthy windows, stains in the floor, the shower curtain/pole was in the bath and the smoke alarm went off three times during our stay in early hours of the morning.
We had issues in check in also where the room keys did not work three times in a row and the reception staff explained they only had a double available when we had booked a family room. They kept us at reception for a long time whilst they found a room they could provide us with enough space.
The food looked appalling so we had to leave the hotel to get something edible. All in all it was simply terrible.
Prons: Hotel stay was value for money. You get what you paid for: clean sheets, sea view, good shower, iron, tea/coffee, tv. All the basics you need for a short stop.
Cons: cleanliness of the public areas, windows.
