Lovely hotel, beautiful Sunday lunch.
Friendly staff.
Easy on site parking.
Our room didn't have a working window and was extremely warm (even with no heating on). Bed was very firm. We didn't have the best night sleep because of this.
Staff were excellent along with room and restaurant. Managed to park at the hotel which was a welcome bonus.

Wonderful hotel in a fabulous spot in Bakewell.all areas were very clean, room was lovely, staff were all helpful and friendly and food was delicious breakfast and evening.
We enjoyed the stay and would definitely return if in the area. We had a courtyard room, across the road from the main hotel. It was very clean, smartly decorated, toasty warm. Nice touches like a coffee machine and water complimentary. The king bed was comfy. Breakfast was a good selection, quality items, and cooked items (eggs and salmon) were excellent. Staff were very welcoming. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but the dining and bar areas looked smart.
The rooms were very clean and modern but small. Room 404 has problems connecting with the internet due its location possibly (corner room in the courtyard rooms across the street), but the other room we had in the middle was good. The car park is way too small for the amount of guests, people were double parking. The hotel food was nice. You must try the Bakewell pudding of course, it was lovely. The hotel had tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room with biscuits. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Bakewell town. Chatsworth House was only 12 minutes by car. Haddon Hall only 3 minutes by car. Lyme Park only 45 minutes by car with some lovely Peak District views on the way.
