The location of the apartment can't be beaten, so many places we could walk to, and most of the attractions we wanted to see were a short cab ride away. It is not even a 1/2 block to the waterbus taxi to explore a large portion of Vancouver and you can take a nice beach path walk to Stanley Park. I loved this location! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had most of what you need, and the living space is adequate for our on-the-go expectations. The only drawback is no A/C. The condo gets very hot with the afternoon sun. We opened windows to cool off at night but there are no screens, so bugs come in. If there is no breeze, it does not cool off enough at night. It is nicely laid out with a small office space, a good-sized dining table and a nice bedroom with very comfortable bed. For anyone who plans to cook, be aware that there are a few pots but no dishes that can go in the oven and no oven mitts. The VRBO pictures of the outdoor space implied that there was a garden area and access to a barbecue but we couldn’t find either, even though we went to every floor to look. I emailed the host to ask if these amenities were available but did not receive a response.
