"It was a great location for anyone going on, or returning from a cruise. It's close enough to the port and all major amenities that you'll be able to find anything you want to eat or buy. You are also close enough to explore Gastown, Granville Island, etc.... A short uber ride, or hop on a scooter or a bike... they are located everywhere. My friend ate at the restaurant downstairs and said the clam chowder was fantastic. The staff was super friendly, polite, and helpful. The property itself is a little dated, but overall pretty cute. The doors to the rooms are loud when they swing closed, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

"For a five-star hotel, there should have been more staff helping at check-in. There were people who had problems with their rooms or their bills, and they held up check-in for others. Nightlight in the bathroom going on and staying on for less than a minute isn’t helpful if you get up in the middle of the night and need more time in there. Dinner was excellent, and the waiters were superb. Everything else was very nice. Good location, and extremely helpful concierge."
