"Great place to stay. At the start of the lakes, short beautiful scenic drive into the heart of everything but you don’t even need to go there as the area of the hotel is beautiful enough. . Train station walking distance away, golf course walking distance away. Food great and even a happy hour available. All staff treated you with a smile and hello"

Stonecross Manor Hotel

Stonecross Manor Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was clean, but in need of some TLC. The lights did work, when the receptionist was told she came fiddled with the light bulbs, eventually they came back on. Once turned off they would not come back on. Very much felt that was an issue the hotel knew about, but had not fixed. The staff at breakfast were not welcoming. When the breakfast came the bacon and black pudding were not fully cooked. The sausage was poor quality and very peppery. Rather disappointing. Will not be staying again."
