"We loved this beautiful resort! The oceanfront room view was spectacular, the room itself could use some updating but we were not there to spend time in the room so this was not a big deal. The nightly entertainment was awesome - we had small children with us and they were always entertained. The water aerobics each day were amazing! The food and drinks were amazing! That being said, we did feel as AI customers that sometimes the service was slow (if they knew you were AI). Would absolutely return to this resort."

"The pools were very nice but the water needs to be fuller so that it reaches the pool filters to help keep it clean. Also water needs to be full so that it goes over the infinity areas. They need a falconer to help keep away all the birds such as seagulls and pigeons as there is to many of them. We shared this idea with Gerardo which was a lovely gentleman who worked there :) on your steep steps up to the lounge area you might wanna add railings in the middle to help with the more mature people who need the stability. Over all this was a lovely place to stay. "

"The staff are second to none. I wish I could have taken the time to record the name of every person I interacted with, but a few standouts: Roberto, my Reserve concierge; Carlos, the pool concierge; and another pool attendant, I believe his name was Enrique. Roberto brought me to my room, provided me with his personal cell number, maintained contact with me throughout my stay, and ensured my group and I had cabanas reserved at the pool. The staff made my stay five-star. My Reserve swim-up was clean, and I liked the private pool. I do wish the deck area of the swim-up suites were a little more private. The rooms are quiet, and I was never disturbed by other guests. The turndown service was something else I enjoyed, after a long day, coming back to my room having been tidied. I LOVED the beach cabanas - nothing like swimming in the Sea of Cortez. The concierge staff at the beach was also amazing. Some things that could have been better: I didn't care for most of the food. I came prepared to try new things, but I found 98% of the food lacking flavor and it appeared dry and mostly unappealing. I'm sure it's difficult to prepare the amount of food required for the resort, and it was not a deal breaker. The beach should be combed better - there are small strips of plastic everywhere, I assume from weddings, etc. held on the beach and the wildlife suffers because humans don't pick up their trash. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I would return to this resort."
