The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

Comfortable large room with excellent en-suite facilities. Beautifully cooked breakfast. The hosts, Dawn and Danny, were delightful and full of helpful information.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.

All round good experience. Could not find fault. Room was a single but have stayed in doubles half the size. Breakfast was excellent and owners were friendly.

I can't recommend Hawkstone Hall highly enough. The location is just stunning, as is the house. Yet despite the grandeur of the place, I never felt anything but totally at ease. The food was easily some of the best I've had, but if I had to choose one thing that really stood out about Hawkstone Hall it was the fact that every member of their staff was an absolute delight.

A friendly family run pub with excellent meals, carvery, and breakfasts. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The carvery was excellent with a choice of three roasts, eight vegetables and two different potatoes followed by a good choice of dessert. Breakfasts are equally good with a large choice.

The rooms we had were lovely. Great friendly staff, went out of there way to order us a taxi and recommended some resturants for us. Breakfast was amazing, full English breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices. Thank you

Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.

The breakfast was really good as were the evening menu choices. In the room, the guide understated the amenities. It was modest about the WIFI capabilities which I thought were actually very good. Similarly, there was a reference to decaffeinated coffee being available for the room on request but it was actually already there.

I’ve used this place a few times, its location is great and it’s very modern, well decorated and comfy. The rooms are week done out and are equipped with fridges and microwaves and there’s a central kitchen with an oven and toaster and hob to use with a washer and dryer. It’s excellent and your minutes from Morrisons, Wetherspoons and the town centre and there’s free parking. It’s essentially a large house split into about 16 flats.

Really nice overnight stay, very welcoming staff. Shown straight to the room without any drawn out checkin. Room really nice a clean, bed and sheets were excellent. Bar is lovely and if the suns out it’s great with the outside bar and pizza oven with views across the fields. Breakfast was brilliant, big portions and cooked perfectly. Will def stay again when in the area

Ideal location for a family visit & made our dog feel very welcome! Everywhere was beautifully decorated & the staff were very welcoming! Breakfast was amazing & we would definitely stay there again !! Well done to the Sutherland xx

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good stay all round. Staff were lovely, food was lovely and everything was spot on. The rooms are a little dated but very well maintained. For what you pay, you really can’t complain. Would definitely stay again.

Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.
