"Set in a historic building room was very spacious and clean.The staff were very welcoming and informative.It was very good to have a bar and restaurant on site. It was situated in the heart of Shrewsbury great for all the places of interest like museums and the river."

"Lovely clean room, it had a welcome fridge with a bottle of orange juice two bottles of water and a carton of milk. Breakfast consisted of cereal or oats, an apple a pastry and some nuts. Parking was free. Even though I overlooked the main road the traffic didn't keep me awake. Unfortunately there was a wake their so I walked 10 mins up the road to eat, so I can't tell you about the food. But I would stay again."

"Lovely, comfy hotel. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a while (full English). The soundproof wasn’t that good, I had to use ear plugs because of nearby roads, but it didn’t spoil my trip. A bonus of seeing the band ‘Europe’ there when I checked out! 🙌"

Buckatree Hall Hotel

"Hotel is out of the way and on a one way system, but managed to navigate. Arrived during a party so spaces in the car park were limited. Also arrived to find signs about ANPR parking. When asked about it, was told the cameras hadn’t been fitted (signs up 3 days early) and there was nothing about a change on the property info. Staff were pleasant and the room was decent. I read reviews about issues with the ‘balcony’. We got a balcony, it’s old but safe. Lovely view, but I could see an issue being a lower level balcony room and insects, but we were on the top floor. Would stay again if in the area."

"Lovely 1 night stay to meet with family and visit Ironbridge. Lovely clean hotel with amenities for all….. pool, golf etc Great Breakfast and awesome location for seeing Ironbridge and the neighbouring areas."
