"I'm really happy I found the Culpeper, much nicer place to stay for the same price (or lower) than a cheap chain hotel. Well located for central London, just a few minutes walk from East Aldgate tube. It's really just a few rooms above the pub, but the rooms are comfy, with much more character than the many overpriced places I've stayed in London. Comfy bed, nice shower, WiFi is good. All I need for a 1 night stay on business. Breakfast is served in a sister pub about 5 minutes walk away. Nice...

"A spacious, well-appointed room is waiting for you, just a skip from Farringdon. We arrived during the after-work happy hour crunch, but the host dropped everything to check us in and make sure we were comfortably situated in our room. The room was fantastic and dinner at the inn was good too. "

We booked outside of London central, because I wanted to take my friend to Gods Own Junkyard (awesome place). "An Inn dated back in 1878, a gem. Rooms are currently renovated on its old bone, carries a strong contrast to its pub on the ground floor where homey yummy food served. The staff was super chilled, it’s Peckham after all. Highly recommend!!!"

"As usual, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was functional, accessible, very accommodating, and clean. The only improvement opportunity I see is in the stiffness of the mattress in the bedroom, which is rather too soft for me, as I prefer slightly more rigid ones. The sofa bed should also be considered for potential replacement or upgrade. In all, splendid stay as usual"
