We loved our stay at the crown, the hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and to such a high quality, the breakfast included in the room rate is cooked to such a high quality using the best quality ingredient very impressive. The restaurant for an evening meal was also very good. We will be staying here again without hesitation as the staff on top are truly so lovely an hospitable.

Family Pub/Hotel

Great to see a family run pub, the staff were very friendly and Angela was great with her wit and banter. The English breakfast cooked by an Australian was one of the best we have had to date. Very good atmosphere and would return when we are back down that way again.

Love this hotel and restaurant!

The food, service and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. beautiful restaurant with unusual food and the breakfasts are out of this world. Travelled all over the world and the food rates at some of the best I have had!

A wonderful surprise

Beautiful room, friendly staff at check in and the pub restaurant looked stunning. Just a shame the lady on breakfast wasn’t as engaging as the lady who welcomed me in the evening. I was expecting a standard pu. Room but was very pleasantly surprised

The Crown offers great food, a lively pub area, cosy and comfortable bedrooms away from the buzz of the bar and restaurant, but most importantly the staff are fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely stay, would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in the Imperial Crown room, which was well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast which was included in the price of the room. Of particular note was the fabulous coffee, which I would definitely recommend. Over all we had a lovely stay and will certainly return if we’re in the area again.
