Would recommend this hotel. We had a one night stay in a lovely room, had dinner and breakfast which were both outstanding. Staff were very friendly and helpful with advice on where to go in the area. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting the lovely Cotswolds. Beautiful hotel with personable and knowledgeable staff who couldn’t have made our stay any better.
Lovely surroundings, excellent room, and we couldn’t recommend it higher.
We had a fabulous time during our stay, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help and indulge us with our requests. The bedroom was lovely the gardens look amazing but sadly the weather didn’t allow us to explore them. The food was amazing. I would definitely stay again.
Wonderful place, amazing food, and very pleasant staff, especially the very nice lady who checked us in and gave us a room upgrade, and the lovely lady serving us breakfast the morning after. They were so warm and welcoming!
The food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Would love to come back some day!
Excellent service from attentive staff. Lovely double aspect room with a very comfortable bed. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and a great cooling fan in the bedroom.
We had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary.
From start to finish, hotel staff were excellent, with nothing too much bother.
Our room was beautiful and fresh with amazing views.
Dinner was nothing short of excellent and represented excellent value for money, breakfast was of a similar standard!
I can’t recommend this place any further, it really is a good old fashioned (in the nicest way) honest hotel with great standards, you really won’t be disappointed.
A place we will return to again!
Cute quick getaway, got upgraded to a larger room which was lovely. Views were amazing. Dinner was great in the 2 rosette restaurant. Pricey but lovely and still decent portion sizes! Pubs within walking distance but is up and down a steep hill. Bar onsite though is reasonably priced and a good selection other than no draft beers.
A beautiful old fashioned style of hotel that concentrates on good food, excellent service and attention to guests' needs. Good value for money. I unhesitatingly recommend this hotel.
Note: was booked by Jonathan but review by Peter Spragg
Had a great time at Burleigh court, staff and hotel are amazing and the food blew us away, would highly recommend to anyone look for a quiet retreat.
Only downside is the facilities and needs a hot tub open all year round or a sauna.
All opening back up in summer so will have to come back!!
Highly recommend the Woodchester wine tour and the clay pigeon shooting!!!!
Thanks to everyone that made our stay magical.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous situation overlooking some stunning countryside. Had a wonderful stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was great and all communal areas were really comfortable and beautifully decorated. We are twice at the hotel - an evening meal and Sunday lunch. Both times with delicious food and live jazz at lunchtime. Only a few little gripes - the bar was understaffed one evening so drinks took a while to come and the extractor fan wasn’t working in our bathroom, but really nothing that spoilt our stay. We had a really memorable break and would definitely recommend as a place to go for special celebrations.
We stayed here for 3 nights as a little relaxing treat before our baby arrived in a few weeks!
From the minute we arrived we knew this place was going to be amazing. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us all weekend. The room itself was perfect for what we needed and very comfortable/clean. Air con was a great addition too with it being fairly warm!
The whole hotel had such a cosy and welcoming feel to it. We spent a lot of time either sat outside enjoying the views or in the back room making the most of the fire and relaxing music.
We also had pizza on the terrace during our stay which was just amazing!
We would definitely come back here in the future!
Stunning location, fantastic property, it’s like you’ve gone back 200 years in a wonderful way. Authentic wood panelling, original features - a real testament to how it was built. Plenty of modern features for creature comfort though.
The friendliest and helpful staff we’ve had in many trips - nothing was too much trouble.
I absolutely adored the window seats in our room, sitting in the afternoon sunshine mid March crocheting - heaven.
The dinner and breakfast- wow - so much locally produced food and beautifully presented.
The Woodchester Bacchus wine a delight.
This venue would make the most amazing wedding venue, or special celebration eg.
Really looking to come back soon.
Thank you to everyone at Burleigh Court.
While this property is certainly picturesque and the restaurant is very good, the attention to customer service could do with some improving. When we arrived before checkin time (after a 25hr round the world trip), rather than inviting us to take a seat or have some refreshments we were told to go away and come back later. The room was lovely but there was no guest book, no instructions for ammenities or wifi and no information about breakfast/meal options or how to check out. We couldn’t phone reception from our room and lastly the bath jacoozy randomly turned on at night waking us multiple times. It wouldn’t take much to address these few issues and then I would definitely consider coming back.
Overall good , we enjoyed our stay . Lovely place and unique building with some lovely facilities. Though given a elevated boutique more attentiveness needed on services for food and drinks bar to improve value.
