"Just returned from a lovely stay at the Townhouse, room was spacious and comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Its location is central so easy to get around and everything in walking distance. Staff very friendly and attentive and great atmosphere in the bar and lounge area. There was a good choice of substantial breakfasts using quality local produce and although this isn’t included in the price it was competitive within the local area. We had a great few days here and would definitely return...

touches that go beyond what you'd expect from a 4*. Excellent location near the waterfront in Stratford, with everything you could want within walking distance. Breakfast was a little unexciting and I don't think the evening dining options and menu are appealing. At least not in winter. Would certainly go back and recommend to others."

"Lovely hotel. The (standard) room was very nicely decorated and felt cosy, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean bathroom. Nice touches such as the chocolates in the room when we arrived. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

touches such as really comfortable pillows and impressive AC. A very nice experience."

"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."
