"Clean rooms, lobby and dining area. Welcoming bar, restaurant and lounge areas. The menu is varied and the food good. Breakfast buffet is amazing, plentiful, clean, well stocked with a large variety of choices. Menu will accommodate varied dietary needs, gluten free choices and other allergens. Buffet clearly labeled, plus staff is knowledgeable on options. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Housekeeping staff are conscientious, efficient and customer friendly. Very well stocked bar. Great area, safe for walking around exploring"

"It was a very nice hotel that was centrally located in the center of Birmingham. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Personally, I was not expecting the area around the hotel to be so busy in the evenings, but things did quiet down by 10 pm. Overall, I was highly recommend this hotel."

"The bedroom was good with two comfortable double beds. Shower but no bath but not an issue for us. Room was quite warm. A fan is provided. Be aware that the gym and parking is an additional cost, although not expensive."

"The room was surprisingly spacious for an Express hotel. The storage space and shelving was well thought out. A huge bed and big comfy chair and table. The shower room was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom was generally clean but there were some tea stains on the carpet under the shelving. I also noticed an old wrist band down behind the bedside table which had clearly been missed during cleaning. The reception, bar and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. It was an especially late night/early morning finish for the bar staff on Saturday night which was much appreciated by some members of our party. The hotel was very busy but there was a good amount of parking spaces provided."
