Poor and dated rooms. Safety issue as there was a fire alarm at 1.00am and the internal phones didn't work. You couldn't even call the hotel as the phones only light up and don't ring. I was in room 10 on the top floor and if there had been a fire, I would have struggled to escape. one way in one way out. No one checked or explained the fire alarm was a guest being stupid. If you could call reception to assess, then you can go back to sleep. Dated hotel, poor service, I will not be back there.

Lovely Hotel, clean and tidy and really nice staff. Perfect location, 5 mins walk from every Saint Albans attraction. Will definitely get back.
