From the time we showed up to the time we left, the staff was attentive and made certain that our time was both enjoyable and memorable. Our travels were in the beginning of their "off season", thus some of the resort's facilities were not open and available. That of course lends my review already on a slightly negative angle.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by name as I entered the lobby and within moments of my checking in I was greeted with a glass of chilled champagne and a quick 5 minute chair massage. A few minutes later the concierge greeted me and offered any assistance needed with tours, packages, and show bookings. She also mentioned sitting through a presentation for free tours or reduced tickets on an outing(you will hear that more than once).
Shortly after the brief chat with her the bellman escorted us to our room. The room had a fresh smell of citrus and was nice and chilled which was refreshing from the heat and humidity.
The food at the limited available restaurants (off season issue) was excellent. The staff around the pool was amazing. All in all there was an overwhelming sense that the staff love their job and appreciate the guests.
While there we met a couple who had stayed closer to the marina with several friends and chose Villa Premiere to spend a few days together. They had minor complaints about their other resort as well as V.P. My general take away from our chat is no place is perfection but Villa Premiere was still an excellent resort.
Great first experience at an all inclusive hotel. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and helpful. Overall environment was excellent. Hotel is centric and all shops, beaches, and other tourist areas are easily accessible from Buenaventura Hotel. Would recommend and visit again.
Food was not good at all. Service was slow at the Castaways restaurant every time we ate there. The pool with the swim-up bar was constantly dirty, and the bottom of the pool is extremely uncomfortable.
Overall the hotel is beautiful and clean and the spa is one of the best I've ever seen, and the staff that work there are amazing. It's fun and nice, but the food is definitely not good or great! The French and the hibachi restaurant are the best!
I would probably not stay here again.
We got the economic room which is a small room with a bed for 2 with A/C. We were there to explore so all we needed was a inexpensive place to sleep with out being boiling hot. So it was perfect for what we needed. Bathroom was good. Staff were great. Breakfast was a plate of fresh fruit and toast, a little something to start the day. Nice terrace on the top roof to look over the area. It gave us a good view of a lightning storm. They had a safe on the main floor where we put our passports. It was a good place to stay and super close to down town and the water front.
What I liked the most about our stay was the breakfast, the omelets were made with fresh eggs and you could ask for any kind of eggs you wanted. The pools were nice and clean. I liked the location, you have to walk to the beach but it wasn't to far.
Went here for a birthday week with a friend and absolutely loved it! The resort has a lot of local flavor. My friend and I were thrilled to be able to speak Spanish the entire time! We were the only Americans in the resort, which was perfect!
The food at the main restaurant was exception. The tacos were to die for and I especially liked the veggie and pasta stations. The wait staff were very eager to please as well. I don't think our drinks were every empty, not to mention they remembered what we liked from meal to meal and day to day. Very impressed! We went to the snack bar once and that was enough. Not quite our style of food, mainly just hamburgers and hotdogs. The one night 5 course meal Las Palmas gives you was - of course - amazing! yummm
The bar staff went above and beyond. Edgar and Oscar at the main bar were some of our favorites. They knew our drink order after the first day and kept them coming. They were also great in offering suggestions that we might like. They were great at taking care of us during the day and evening. David and that night bar was exceptional as well. He poured a fabulous drink and kept them coming.
We also splurged and got full body deep tissues massages. They were mind blowing! I can't believe how little we paid for such excellent service. I would highly recommend treating yourself to one of these. Best part is you just book at reception and they are located on the second floor of the hotel. We just rolled out of be

Because of the surrounding resorts, this area’s beaches are among the most crowded in Puerto Vallarta. Playa las Glorias’ gray-sand beach is popular for boating and parasailing. Around hotel row, street vendors hawk silver jewelry and other small souvenirs. Nearby, daily soccer matches take place at the municipal sports stadium, which also has a top-notch track and field facility.
