A very nice resort that isn’t too big. Clean, kid friendly, air conditioning, daily activities and night shows. Great location with easy access to the port and to the center. There are options for eating outside the resort which is great for guests who choose not to use the all inclusive option.

Cold AC, great water pressure, helpful staff, the drinks were very good. Food was ok. The machine to assign your room key to bracelet was broken when we arrived but staff was very helpful in assisting us to enter our room. You will be offered a visit to attend the sister resort and get a sales pitch. It was not pushy but there were 3 tiers of pitches. We were offered nice incentives and had a lovely breakfast there.

We’ve been coming to the Villa Del Palmar for 10+ years and always feel well taken care of. We participated in a variety of the activities provided, especially beach volleyball, paddle boarding, and pickleball. The activities coordinators are top notch! They were always quick to help in getting the court watered so we could play, morning and afternoon! We especially appreciated Carlos in getting our beach chairs set up with an umbrella each day! He went out of his way each day to make sure we had what we needed, many times before we even asked! We look forward to our next trip to the Villa!

I stayed during the cartel incident. The hotel was very accommodating and nice during an extended stay. They discounted the rates of the rooms for hundreds of guest that were stuck. Rooms are okay for the price. Very quirky an bright color palettes. Food was good however it was expensive. The location is great it's next to a mall and shopping and local restaurants which are cheaper to eat.
