Malacuna Liverpool
10/10 Excellent
"My daughter and I were visiting Liverpool University’s open day and needed a place to stay for 1 night that was near the university. The Malacuna was a great place to stay. It was very close to both the university and Liverpool Lime Street station. Our room and bathroom were clean and modernly decorated. Had a nice hot shower in the morning too. And compared to other accommodations, it was reasonably priced."
The Liner Hotel

"Excellent location, clean rooms and friendly staff."
Hope Street Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the hotel, there was nothing to fault (we had a free upgrade). It was a special anniversary so everything was beyond our expectation. Everything was tastefully designed. The room was beautiful, well lit, well furnished and the bed was so comfortable. There was a large bathroom and walk in shower. We stayed on the3rd floor facing Philharmonic Hall and there was negligible noise from the road below and none from the rooms around us even though the hotel appeared to full or close to full on a Friday evening. The food in The London carriage Works restaurant was excellent and breakfast the next day was good too. Lastly, the staff were polite and kind without being obsequious."
Hampton by Hilton Blackpool
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first stay at the Hampton by Hilton Blackpool, and we'll definitely be back. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was a great location for exploring Blackpool, Fleetwood, Cleveleys and Lytham and St Anne's. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options - everything from cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast to a full cooked breakfast, as well as waffles, and fruit juice and coffee / hot chocolate were available. We had dinner twice at the hotel and the food was good, reasonably priced and served quickly. We had a room on the third floor and it was quiet and away from noise. The sea view looked over the illuminations but the curtains and glazing meant that getting to sleep wasn't a problem. The bed was comfortable and it was one of the best hotel sleeps I've ever had. The room was clean, Housekeeping changed our towels when we needed and the replenishment of tea and coffee was a nice touch. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back."
Adelphi Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I love the Adelphi Hotel, staff are very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is full of charm and the location is fantastic"
Titanic Hotel Liverpool
10/10 Excellent
"Convenient location in the dock area of Liverpool; its slightly decentralized loaction makes for a quieter environment, yet you get into the centre of town in 5 minutes. Parking can be difficult as the hotel seems extremely busy every night (we were there Saturday and Sunday night); there is an overflow (public) car park up the road. Check-in was made unpleasantly and unnecessarily difficult by the fact the person who booked the room (myself) has to be the one checking in; my wife was forced to wait almost half an hour while I sorted out parking and walked across (I have mobility issues, hence the long wait). Once I got there, all they wanted was to see me physically and not check any documents, so I fail to see the logic in just inconveniencing the guests. Having said that, the room itself was nice and spacious (it could do with some more lighting), as was the modern bathroom. The breakfast buffet is worth paying for as there is a lot of choice, as well as freshly cooked eggs. Definitely worth a visit and we will probably stay there again for a future visit to Liverpool, but next time I’ll get my wife to sort out the parking and the luggage…"
Atlantic Tower Hotel Liverpool By Sunday
10/10 Excellent
"Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly Reception staff, who informed us that we had been upgraded to a suite, with the most amazing views of the Mersey, Liverbird building and other iconic buildings. Check in was very friendly, efficient and welcoming. The Queen Elizabeth Suite was huge and the view was amazing. The bedroom was very modern, with a very comfortable king size bed and luxurious bedding. The living room was a bit dated/ tired in areas, but probably in keeping with it being the Queen Elizabeth Suite. The bathroom was very large, with a modern corner bath and separate shower. Soft fluffy towels and good quality shower/shampoo etc. Our front door was difficult to open, but Reception are going to get that sorted. The room had great air con/heating system which is modern and very easy to use. A large TV on the bedroom and lounge. Breakfast was very good value. Lots of branded choices and the food was hot. Staff were very friendly and welcoming there. Once again the view was amazing, a lower level view of what we enjoyed from our 12th floor room. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend the suite that we stayed in, as you could watch the boats sail by and see if a cruise was in dock. We can't wait to go back and hopefully stay in that room again. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff, who are happy to help with anything at all."
