"We picked this hotel due to location on our way up to Scotland. Just off the M6, this hotel is tucked away without any noise from the motorway traffic.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms were super clean and well equipped and the bonus was being able to use the spa and pool and gym facilities during our one night stay.

"We came here for a night for our 25th wedding anniversary as this is where we spent our wedding night. Has changed a lot obviously and looks like there’s some renovations being made, but we stayed in the main hotel. The room was really nice and clean, food was amazing, we had evening meal and breakfast. All the staff very nice and friendly and the lovely lady on reception gave us complimentary access to the spa for our anniversary but unfortunately we didn’t have time to make use of it, but a lovely gesture anyway.

"Lovely hotel, great facilities and nice surroundings. We tried Bennett’s restaurant for our evening meal, the food was very disappointing. The breakfast was nice however. Prices were reasonable. Our room was lovely and in good condition but too warm with no aircon. The gym and pool were excellent. "

However, one concern was the presence of dead flies on the restaurant’s window sill. Given the warm weather, this issue should have been addressed promptly to maintain cleanliness

"Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable.
The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable."
"Absolutely stunning place (photos do not do it justice!!) Very spacious and equipped with all you need in a calm tranquil environment. Ian and Gill were very welcoming and so kind!!

"The property is very nice, clean and tidy that makes 100% the same as the pictures. It has all needed utensils and crockery so making dinner after a day. There is also a charcoal BBQ but we did not use. The host couples are very helpful. When we accidently turned off the boiler, they came and checked on us almost immediately.
The location and check-in is so simple and hassle-free. There are few house types that we found out and so good to visit again with extended family.
Wifi is stable and with good connection but you may require to login from time-to-time since hotspot is used.
I never stayed in a holiday house which is so impressed especially the cost is not high. This is really worth of money."
