Did exactly as expected. This is not a luxury hotel but is clean, safe and a perfect location for the lower east and west sides of Manhattan

I really appreciated this hotel being my base. The staff were phenomenally friendly, welcoming and helpful. That made a big difference to me as this was my first time in NY, on a ten day trip alone. A big adventure. The mattress was firm (very important) AND there were feather pillows. Close to travel and amenities. It’s listed as three star. I see it as four star. Very good value for money.

We truly dropped lucky when we booked The Carnegie Hotel, our first time in New York. On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly reception by Elijah and then by Alexandra who was a pleasure to chat to every day discussing all our adventures. The afternoon wine was always fun and the complimentary tea, coffee and snacks were a nice touch. The location is spot on. Staff were great. Especially the night time staff member. Always cheery and greeted us when we returned. Not much tv channels for night time but that didn’t matter. Our room wasn’t cleaned once over the 4 nights which I thought was weird. Good hotel to get your head down at night.

A lovely hotel in a great area of Williamsburg super close to all the shops, parks and restaurants. Room was a great size for NYC, with a comfortable bed, balcony and decent sized en suite. Well stocked and varied mini bar, pod coffee maker and quick room service. Breakfast at Leuca was hot and miss depending on the server you had, but we mainly chose to explore the local restaurants and coffee shops for meals as the choice is immense. Would visit Williamsburg and stay here again.

This is a great value hotel, in a wonderful location in the lower east side. The room and amenities were all clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though you’re in a loud part of town I found you couldn’t hear much from outside. The rooftop is a bonus too. I would definitely stay here again next time I come back.

Hotel was ideal for its purpose. Close to everything planned for an elderly relative visiting with us.

Stayed in the king room with Times Square view, it was perfect. Huge comfortable bed, very clean and spacious. As two women it felt very secure and safe, with staff at all entrances and key card needed to access lift and extra lock on the bedroom door, which was something I was looking for.

Well positioned from the Subway for to/from JFK and rest of Manhattan. Helpful, friendly staff who make you feel both welcome and a bit special.
