I had such a great stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect and close to everything, which made getting around NYC so easy and convenient. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were truly amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe throughout my stay, which I really appreciated.

Know what you are in for on this place. It’s no frills. Ear plugs advised and they have them at the front desk. I had a simple solo room with a shared bathroom (which was very clean). The room was also clean. Cameras are through out the hallways and access to the rooms is well secured.

Staff was amazing. Incredibly sweet and helpful. Room was what it was. Very tiny, tiny space… just enough for your body and one suitcase in the cabin, which was fine for me. Shared restrooms were fairly clean. No elevator, so be mindful of that if accessibly is an issue. Hotel its self is very old, but I found that charming. For 3 days, 2 nights, I was totally fine here. Would definitely come back.

Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, the property in reality is incredibly different than what it is advertised. In addition, bathrooms were extremely dirty and no towels are provided as a standard amenity.

I absolutely loved my stay at 101 HOTEL Manhattan because of its unbeatable Bowery location, so we walked to Little Italy in two minute, SOHO in five, the other day LES and NOHO in a few too and the Subway is directly at the corner - this place is incredible. Spotless rooms with hard floor and incredibly comfortable, brand-new beds. Loved the AC it’s a hot summer. Sweet staff very helpful.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. There is no elevator, so be ready to go up flights of stairs with luggage. The rooms were small and had thin walls, so I could hear my neighbors at all times. Additionally, no hangers in the bathroom or really much of an area for anything. Additionally, there was also a hole in the ceiling and the tv in our room did not have a remote. The staff was nice but I only saw 2 or 3 people working the entire time, so this hotel is definitely understaffed. It’s a decent area, but honestly a motel 6 is an upgrade over this!

Location is excellent. Price is excellent. But they say you get what you pay for. Walls are paper thin- use earplugs. They don’t provide washcloths. No mirror. No ac control- I was freezing the entire night. They use regular keys on a bulky keyring. If you are staying for one night and won’t be in the room often- I suggest this place. If you’re going to be there for more than 1 night- don’t do it. Tv didn’t work either. No signal. There’s also no windows.

I absolutely love 101 HOTEL Manhattan New York City! The location on Bowery is unbeatable—right at the crossroads of Little Italy, SoHo, and Chinatown. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. Those brand-new memory foam beds are insanely comfortable, the AC blows ice cold, and the gig Wi-Fi is super fast. For the price and the prime location, you cannot beat this place. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit NYC!

I had a terrific stay here. This is not a glamorous hotel. It is not the four seasons. It is a no-frills, hostel-style accommodation. You share a bathroom. You can hear everything happening in the room next to you, but you have your own bed and room. The room is small, but it is more than enough. The front desk attendant is superb. Extremely nice!

There were bed bugs, there was no elevator. One of the people in charge was rude to the front desk clerk. There was mold on the ceilings. No windows and it was most definitely a closet. I have no idea how they managed to fit a bed in the closet. It was a nightmare.
