"Staff was great, friendly and helpful"

"Room was dusty and the lines were yellow and could have used some fabric softener to help freshen the the room,. The TV control was not working. The staff finally brought a different one, but it jwouldn’t connect to WiFi. The lift was not workiñg, so o sight seeing the sttafcg finally moved us to different room.. the coffee maker was missing a part. Called and represented this so I would be charged with the relplacent. This is not what I expected from a Wyndham poperty. "

"I researched the area for an overnight stay. This hotel had an “8” review. I booked a deluxe queen room with a balcony or a patio. We arrived and thought the lobby was cute and clean. Our first experience with the front desk was pleasant enough. We checked in and then proceeded to our room. The first thing I noticed were the dirty filthy carpets, and the first elevator, which was closest to our room, was inoperable. We had to proceed to the far other end of the building to take the other elevator to the third floor. The room looked okayyy but definitely had not been cleaned thoroughly and the beds looked lumpy and unkempt. There was no balcony. We dropped our bags and decided to check out the rest of the hotel. The entire first floor was in a demolished state. It smelled of must and mold and there was a gaping hole in one of the walls and smoke alarms hanging by wires from the wall. We proceeded to the pool area and had to walk through construction and debris. Also having to interrupt construction workers on ladders to get through to the pool. There was no changing room, no bathroom in the pool area or near the pool area and the pool was filthy. We couldn’t even see the bottom of it. I went out to the front desk to inquire about it, and the hotel clerk was unsure if it was treated with chlorine. We just got an overall feeling that the entire hotel was not clean. Staff was unhelpful and rude when we explained why we wanted to leave. "
