Loved it. Great spot with a superb pub 10 yards from the door. Good walks into nearby towns too.

Excellent accommodation. Can not fault it. Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Rooms are nice decorated and clean. Will be staying again.

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Good food

Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!

My wife and I stayed at Throstle Nest for 2 nights this week and had a great time.The Skiptonn area provides a lot to do and see and we found this Band B to be an excellent base.The setting is great with country views from the bedroom which was really well appointed with all facilities on tap.

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless. Room was lovely though

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. Great stay from check in through to check out. Spacious, modern rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Good location for shopping. Bit of a walk to FD Arena but just get an Uber!

Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

We had a really enjoyable stay! The hotel staff went over and above to help us and give great service. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean, huge bathrooms and seriously comfy beds.

Having been to the bar area for years I was really looking forward to staying in one of the rooms. The room was very nice, very spacious with large wardrobe and kettle with tea and coffee. The huge bed was so comfy, in fact the rooms couldn't be any better. The bathroom was lovely and spacious too with a great powerful hot shower, and the towels were beautiful. Lovely breakfast with excellent choice to cover everyone's needs. Couple of the staff were miserable as sin and let the others...

Ashley was the best host. Very professional. We would definitely recommend Ashley and his lovely assistant Lisa, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We shall be staying there again. The breakfast is to die for, locally sourced and delicious. You could not ask for more it was all provided and presented with love. Everything about this hotel was 5*, the staff, the location and attention to detail. Go on give it a go, you will not regret it. Thanks Ashley, Lisa and not forgetting...
